Meet Weston, affectionately known as 'Woodie.' He and the groom bonded during their time in Air Force ROTC at the University of Kentucky. Weston is an airline pilot with Jetblue. The bride and groom have issued a challenge: engage in a conversation without Weston mentioning anything about flying, airplanes, or aviation, and you'll earn yourself a free drink at the reception.

When Weston isn't soaring through the skies, he finds joy in travelling, photography, and gaming. Weston is a seasoned globetrotter, he and the groom, along with Brett, make it a tradition to welcome the New Year in a different corner of the world each time, continuously seeking to surpass their previous adventures.

An all-time highlight of the groom's friendship with Weston was while having dinner at Buck's after a rowdy day at the Kentucky Oaks. As the restaurant's pianist graced the evening with classical melodies, Weston, known for his irrepressible spirit, seized the opportunity to inject a dose of excitement. With a mischievous grin, he persuaded the pianist to deliver a classical rendition of "Danger Zone," successfully increasing the room’s energy a hundredfold.
