The ceremony and reception will both take place in the Picasso Room of the Mellwood Art Center. Further details about the venue, including entry instructions and a map, can be found on the event details page in the section on getting there.

Yes! On the event details page, there is a map showing the best place to drop off folks with mobility concerns. This route is stair-free and approximately 20 feet away from the entrance of the Picasso Room, accessible via a paved surface. Yes! Our ceremony and reception are open to all ages. Just let us know on your RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

At 4:00 PM, we'll start with hors d’oeuvres and drinks, followed by the ceremony at 4:30 PM. To ensure you don't inadvertently walk down the aisle with the bride, please arrive promptly. If you arrive early, there are plenty of places to explore at the venue, including an antique store, a brewery, a pizza place, an art gallery, and various shops.

Yes, we'll have an open bar available for guests to enjoy. We kindly ask everyone to drink responsibly and arrange for transportation to return to their hotels safely.

Kindly RSVP by August 16. We don’t want to have to hunt you down but we will if we have to ;) If your plans change after you've RSVP'd, just give us a heads-up beforehand.

No, we've arranged for a professional photographer to capture moments during the ceremony. We kindly request that guests refrain from taking pictures during the ceremony to ensure the photographer can document it seamlessly.

Yes, we have a hotel block at the AC hotel in downtown Louisville. There is a private booking site to use for the negotiated rate.

If you're flying in, Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport (SDF) is your best bet for reaching the hotel and venue conveniently. Rides from the Louisville airport to NuLu usually range from $20 to $30 with services like Uber, Lyft, or taxis. Alternatively, Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) may have more direct flights from certain locations, but it's about 95 miles away from Louisville (1.5 hours drive time).
