2018
John and Alexis met in Dayton, Ohio after setting up a date on the Bumble app. Their first date took place at Gem City Catfe, a charming blend of coffee haven and feline paradise. Love brewed over cups of coffee and the chance to cuddle with furry friends awaiting their forever homes.
2019-2020
After about a month, they decided to make their relationship official. They both continued to pursue their Master’s degrees. Alexis immersed herself in Physician Assistant studies and John plunged into Electrical Engineering. Their connection blossomed amidst the backdrop of cozy coffee shops, playful felines, enjoyable photography sessions, and exhilarating travel adventures.
2021
After John received his assignment to Edwards Air Force Base in Southern California, they embarked on a month-long road trip across the country from Ohio, finally arriving in California. Since then, they've been happily settled there, with John serving as a Captain in the Air Force and Alexis pursuing her career as a Physician Assistant.
2022
While on a journey through Norway, John and Alexis made a stop in the picturesque town of Narvik, with hopes of witnessing the breathtaking Northern Lights. Little did Alexis know, a surprise awaited her. One day, they embarked on a scenic hike. While Alexis anticipated another sightseeing adventure, John had something special in mind. Upon reaching the summit of the hill, he surprised her with a ring, marking the beginning of a new chapter in their lives. The remainder of their vacation was spent basking in the joy of their engagement.
2023-2024
John and Alexis have made California their home, where they share their space with their two beloved cats, Nila and Suzy. They indulge in their passion for exploration, frequently discovering new delights in Los Angeles, while also lavishing attention on their cherished feline companions. With excitement building, they eagerly anticipate the arrival of their big day in September 2024!
